I offer custom oil portrait commissions painted from high-quality photographic references, with careful attention to character, light, and detail.

Prices vary depending on canvas size:

20 × 20 cm — €180
20 × 25 cm — €220
30 × 30 cm — €280
40 × 50 cm — €380

All paintings are supplied unframed. Larger or custom formats are available upon request.
A deposit may be required to confirm the commission.

How to enquire

Please email a clear head-and-shoulders photograph (minimum file size 1 MB) with:
* a well-defined light source
* visible facial shadows
* a neutral background
Similar to a passport photograph, but this time, you are expected to smile. Looking directly at the camera is optional.
Take your time with the photo and enjoy the process. A 3/4 side view often works beautifully, and it is best if the subject’s eyes are clearly visible. Think of the final result as a portrait you would proudly hang on your wall, and feel free to look through my paintings for reference and inspiration.

Delivery

Shipping costs are not included in the listed prices and can be calculated directly through the An Post and DPD Ireland websites, depending on destination, parcel size, and delivery preference. Tracked delivery is recommended for all original artworks.

Additional information

As oil paint requires time to fully dry, waiting times may vary depending on drying conditions. Paintings intended for shipping will only be dispatched once fully dry. For an additional fee, I can personally deliver finished paintings within County Dublin and surrounding counties.

In cases of hand delivery, the painting may still be drying and should not be touched for several days or weeks after delivery. Care instructions will be provided where necessary. Responsibility for the safe handling and storage of the artwork passes to the client once the painting has been accepted and fully paid for.
